About the Role
A Content Moderator plays a crucial role in reviewing and managing content shared across digital platforms. Every second, millions of users upload videos, images, comments, and posts. Your responsibility is to ensure this content complies with community guidelines, platform rules, and safety policies. You will be part of a dynamic environment where accuracy, attention to detail, and cultural understanding are essential.
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Hyderabad, offering excellent exposure to the world of digital content management. Candidates with strong language skills and a commitment to online safety will thrive in this position.
Key Responsibilities
Review and moderate user-generated content across various platforms.
Ensure all content complies with established community guidelines and safety policies.
Identify, flag, and escalate harmful or inappropriate content, including hate speech, explicit material, misinformation, spam, violence, or abusive comments.
Maintain consistency, accuracy, and fairness in decision-making.
Stay updated with frequent changes in platform policies and industry best practices.
Work with internal teams to improve moderation processes and user safety.
Provide clear judgment on sensitive content while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Required Language Skills
Wipro is specifically seeking candidates who are fluent in any of the following languages:
Bengali
Malayalam
Gujarati
Punjabi
Bhojpuri
Tamil
Kannada
Oriya
Arabic
Applicants with strong reading, writing, and understanding abilities in these languages will be given priority.
Eligibility & Qualifications
Experience: 0 years (Freshers are welcome)
Education: Any graduate (degree in arts, languages, media, or communication is a plus)
Strong communication skills in English
Ability to work with sensitive, graphic, or disturbing content
Good analytical thinking and decision-making capability
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to work in rotational shifts if required
