Description
All guests can call and order F&B outlets.
When special events occur, telemarkets from our database.
Special requests, such as birthday cakes/diet needs, are updated by chefs
Assists guests with special requests, such as arranging flowers or balloons.
Collectors of outlet guest survey cards, and outlets collected business cards
Fills out outlet forms for group reservations.
Booking Management: e.g. Hours, overbooking, etc.
All reservations are received and supplies and keep outlets are updated daily.
Responsible for the guest mailing list campaign.
Participates in activities and functions with other outlets as required.
As assigned by the superior, performs related duties and special project work.
Coordinate with Waiter/Waitress & Minibar Attendant.
Excellent communication skills and selling techniques are essential.
Responsible for taking orders by telephone and ensuring correct posting in POS system.
You must report to duty on time wearing the right uniform, well-polished shoes, and a nametag according to hotel dress code and grooming standards.
We provide prompt, efficient, and courteous service at all times.
All tasks and duties are carried out according to the requirements of the outlet.
Make sure you are familiar with all the services and products that the hotel offers.
Be able to comprehend and have a deep knowledge of all the food and beverages offered at the outlets.
You will be able to sell and explain all products offered by your department, as well as offer alternatives.
Monitor equipment and operating supplies and minimize spoilage.
Make sure that your workplace and the surrounding areas are clean and well-organized at all times.
Perform the opening and closing of the outlet as required.
Assist guests with their inquiries in a professional and courteous manner. Report guest complaints to supervisors.
Immediately report guest complaints to supervisors. Ensure follow-up with guest.
Knowledgeable to use the existing POS system based upon the level of training and responsibility as assigned by the department.
Follow the hotel's policies on fire, hygiene, safety and sanitation.
Establish good working relationships with the staff of the hotel and the department they are assigned.
Participate in all meetings of staff, departmental training and hotel-initiated learning.
Assign reasonable tasks and other duties to the Department Head.
As directed by the hotel management, respond to any changes made in the department.
Assist with the maintenance of scheduled inventories of products.
Assign any other reasonable duties or responsibilities.
Maintaining a positive, motivated attitude at all times and practicing self-control.
Understanding the monthly profit/loss statement of your department.
You should be able to lead and model the service to others.
You will be able to provide flawless service according to the hotel's requirements and to the highest standards.
Be able to fully understand the outlet concept and act as a guardian for the service, food, and beverages provided and the direction of the team.
Skills & Qualifications.
It is essential to have a college degree or diploma.
Experience in working in luxury hotels is required.
Experience working in the Middle East Region would be an advantage
A good knowledge of computer systems is a benefit
