Job description

What you’ll do

Assist with production of new web pages and updating of existing pages using WordPress content management system including building new content pages and blog posts.

Edit existing web pages, following a mock-up, to refresh content and imagery with a high degree of accuracy.

Ensure quality control of all web content, including but not limited to:

Proofreading and formatting content while maintaining our brand standards

Checking links and image sizes

Checking for alt text and link description

Adherence to accessibility guidelines

Review of the content for each device size (desktop, tablet, and mobile)

Upload documents and images to our Digital Management System, Brandfolder, and embeds the proper links into WordPress

Troubleshoots errors within the content or page layouts and resolve them swiftly

Apply metadata tags and determined keywords to web content to ensure compliance with search optimization best practices

Apply UX best practices to all page layouts to ensure continuity throughout the website journey

Qualifications and Requirements:

3-5 years of experience with web development specifically within WordPress, portfolio of work preferred

Solid knowledge of WordPress, Digital Management System (Brandfolder), and Vimeo

Strong understanding of HTML coding and editing

Manage multiple projects and prioritize workload while meeting set deadlines

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Effective, proactive communication skills with the Digital Marketing Senior Manager
