Key responsibilities:
Ensure ticketing facilities for the FIFA World Cup 2022 and other FIFA tournaments are delivered as per requirements.
Ensure ticketing facilities and the required infrastructure are delivered as per local legislation and safety requirements with appropriate certification.
Along with other departments determine facility designs, hardware and equipment requirements and setup plans.
Plan and oversee the configuration and installation of physical infrastructure and IT in the ticketing facilities.
Ensure any required support and maintenance is organised for operations time in all ticketing facilities.
Ensure seating bowl in the stadiums is delivered as per requirements.
Support general ticketing operations for FIFA events as required.
Any other duties that may be required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree or similar level of education
Basic event/project management skills
Experience:
1-3 years in managing infrastructure and logistics for projects, preferably at international sporting events
Skills:
English fluency – spoken and written (required)
Arabic fluency – spoken and written (is an advantage)
Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project)
Planning software and online collaboration tools (an asset)
Knowledge of Qatar local legislation, safety requirements and facilities certification processes
Knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage
Knowledge of IT networks planning and implementation is an advantage
