The Kochi Metro Rail Project is the long cherished dream of citizens of Kochi city. BEWARE OF FAKE JOB OPENINGS IN KOCHI METRO.
It has come to our notice that some unscrupulous elements are trying to deceive candidates/general public by sending e-mails or through social media like WhatsApp, etc. by offering jobs to them in Kochi Metro. We also fear that these unscrupulous elements may collect money from the candidates/general public by giving promise of facilitating appointments in Kochi Metro. Recruitment in KMRL is not out-sourced to any agency. All the vacancies in Kochi Metro are advertised in the newspapers and also in the employment news. The detailed advertisements mentioning the eligibility criteria for the advertised positions, including qualifications, age, experience required etc. are invariably hosted on our website www.kochimetro.org , wherein candidates are required to apply ONLINE only through our website by payment of application fee of Rs.500/- (at present) through our payment gateway. Application in any other mode is not entertained by Kochi Metro. Kochi metro neither recruit anyone on the strength of his/her resume/biodata nor offer out-of-turn employment to anyone.
We hereby caution the general public not to fall prey to claims made by unscrupulous elements aiming at fleecing money from the innocent public. Kochi Water Metro Project
Kochi Water Metro Project – is an integrated Water Transport System that was envisaged with the objective of connecting the mainland with the islands, around the Kochi lagoon, through Modern Water Transport system. The primary aim is improving connectivity of people and thereby improving their livelihood and standard of living. The project is conceived as an environmental friendly, modern urban transport system with 15 identified routes over 76 km of route length. As per the Project Report, (being funded by KfW, Germany and Govt. of Kerala), on completion, with a fleet of 78 boats and 38 terminals, Kochi Water Metro Project would be the second largest water transport system next to only Venice. The fleet has state of the art modern electric catamaran boats for the operations. Under the direction of Government of Kerala, Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL) has been assigned with the responsibility of setting up of the project of Kochi Water metro Limited(KWML) and oversee the initial recruitments, Policy Formulations etc.
