Role Overview: As a Machine Learning Data Associate, you will be instrumental in advancing the capabilities of Alexa, Amazon’s virtual assistant. The focus of this role is on foundational labelling functions, including dialogue evaluation on speech and text data. This crucial task directly contributes to enhancing Alexa’s performance in various everyday situations.
Key Skills:
Familiarity with the Windows desktop environment and proficiency in using Word, Excel, IE, Firefox, etc.
Flexibility and interest in performing repetitive tasks.
High energy levels, proactive nature, and a sense of ownership.
Ability to work collaboratively across all levels within and outside the company.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Job Description: Your primary focus will be on Astro, Amazon’s first household robot, designed to interact seamlessly with people and spaces. This involves tasks such as home monitoring and facilitating communication with family members. The role encompasses a variety of cutting-edge technologies, including artificial intelligence, computer vision, sensor technology, voice recognition, and edge computing.
Responsibilities:
Work efficiently with guidance from the manager, demonstrating flexibility and speed in delivering results.
Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement.
Learn quickly about well-defined processes and support team members in daily tasks.
Communicate regularly with management on status, risks, and change control.
Document and follow up with internal/external members at Amazon.
Identify, communicate, and solve problems in a timely manner.
Contribute to process improvements by proposing enhancements.
Collaborate with key stakeholders for requirements and set up the delivery plan considering resources and timelines.
Partner closely with Program Managers, providing guidance on protocol/process development and scheduling for future projects.
